so... there's snow. and it's cold. and it's hard to drive. especially hard to drive. getting stuck outside of the garage wasn't exactly the highlight of the day.
However - I did get to hang out with two old friends - or still friends, Megan and Elaine. Yup. Ate, saw movies and ate again. Typical, but fun.
Got to get the snow to melt now so I can go back to everyday stuff. Like hanging out in my house. Eh. So be it. Let the snow melt and the plans begin.
Encompassed by being lazy once again. Saw "Stage Beauty" and "Shattered Glass" today. Movies. Interesting I'd say. The second being more serious than the first, about fabricating articles.
Nothing fabulous. Must get to my stack of books anyway. One of them ought to be great great.

Time for a change don't you think?
So I did it and it's done. I kinda like it. But that's my opinion as usual. Biased and the like.
And I realized how much fun junk can be. I found a bag full on my desk, apparently from "cleaning" before I left. Neato. Too bad I can barely make myself throw stuff away. Aw.
So I just couldn't help myself to write another. Break should still be fun, yada-yada, but sometimes don't you feel different now. I think I just do. Out of the loop or something. Everyone's got their own stuff going on, as they should - not that I believe otherwise, but it still makes everything seem different. Have "we", the universal "we", changed? Is it really just me? Or is it something beyond me, something that I couldn't even expect. Oh. Darn. I think this is a book's doing as usual. And what about evil do you ask? haha. Don't even bother.
It's just a feeling... I don't really get it and everything. Life goes on. Carry on.
So apparently I'm not so on top of things. Eh. Sorry to anyone who I didn't write or didn't call. eep. And I didn't even write here... but now I am. There you go. HMPH.
So back at home once more, two weeks to relax and have a nice time. I only hope that I do have a nice time. Lots of city stuff to enjoy, cause I think that's what I've been missing.

I'm just so boring/bored. I did way too much work and have just a bit left. Now I'll really have very little to do. Arg. I dislike this situation.

almost everyone I know is at home. I'm not going home for thanksgiving, but I think that my home is almost here. It's interesting really. I like it hear, and I like home. My real home anyway.
Eh. Stop the blabbering and say a nice thing. OK. Have a nice thanksgiving! YAY for a break.
I'm almost ready for tomorrow. So the rough draft is due. And it'll be crappy no question.
But tomorrow will not be bad. Class ends at 12. Got a quiz to study for and a package to pick up. That will make everthing fun I'll hope. If that doesn't do it, a nap might.
And then just a few(or several times 10) hours remain until a break. Break is always good, and restful, and entertaining.
Seeing a movie or two, at least off the computer it'll be good. Lot's of stuff to do. Maybe cleaning up and laundry. Laundry. huh. Not that I smell or anything. Just that there's almost no socks.
I'll live. I always do. Well, I must go finish writing about the draft and o'brien in vietnam. It's a little depressing, possibly more so than boring. Aw.

This week isn't so bad, except for the chem quiz. Too bad that's a ruiner for the week. Once it's done on thursday everyone should move along smoothly. But by then the week'll be over.
Anyway... If you're from a past life and you read this, silently looking, then you should write an email instead. I think that would just make my day. C'mon. I know who you are anyway, and am just too tired to call. Fine fine. I'll call later.
Anyway, that's about it for now. Every thing I think is a good idea just gets shot down anyway. But it's a good thing I'm not up the creek without a paddle. Feeling better about that already. OK. I'll just go back to listening to my fun music. YAY.
So the breaks between classes... I think I'm allowed to rant a tiny bit. So it's a nice hour break, then class, then another hour break til Lunch. So breaks are nice. Stupid not combined breaks, on the other hand infuriate me. OK... not really.... just go back to work I know...

so the weeks pass quickly by. Since I read Tia's comment, darn you Tia! (just kidding), I'm now just too hungry. Ok sorry for that personal note. But arg.
So what else. The past week was short, this coming week is looking to be easy. But maybe just by thinking that I've spoken too soon. darn. I'll just have to see. And weekends are too nice. Maybe that's my problem. hmm. I'll think about it next weekend. haha.
I suppose there's always more to do, always more more more. It'll end for winter break I hope. That's only ... oh several weeks away. That might be a sooo needed break, but so far its more fun than expected. Let this coming week be great, please.
A hum project, and nothing else really, just time consuming lab and stuff. No super problems at this point.

So I suppose there are positives and negatives about living near LA. And I emphasize the word "near." It is interesting that we live so near and go so little. Today (as part of our fun break) we went to LA to see a museum. We of course missed the train we were supposed to catch, and caught the next one only 40 minutes or so later.
And of course the plan was to go the furthest and hardest to reach museum - the Getty, but in passing another one the first bus we took, we decided to get off - turn around and go to that one instead. So we went to the LACMA. Interesting huh? So I do like art. Take that.
The museum structure was cool, LA was raggedy looking, and life was good. The museum had very little famous art, some very strange things in the modern art building, way too much construction and an interesting list of donors. And plus we almost lost Zane, so that was concerning. But she was found and we came back. With much napping on bus, train, and on the couch later when watching a movie.
What a fun tiring day. Great!

I suppose a ton of people are now on fall break... well at least everyone here. And some other places I'd suppose as well. This is not only a much deserved break but one that I tip my proverbial hat to. I commend you [ Fall Break ] .

So I think that the very last message I'd typed in has mysteriously dissapeared. Today was not bad at all, and the week is all downhill from here. But don't mention next week. Ok that last sentence never ever happened. Having a good day, lack of lab making it only better. Hooray.
I've got letters to write and things to do including the lecture tonight, so wish me all sorts of luck - especially in not falling asleep once again due to the awful lecture room... uh.. or something like that. hehe.
